| | Q Pics - Online at Flickr! by host |
I (Mark M) put about 350 pics up on my flickr acct. I'll work this week on putting them within the MoparCarbque site. I have some concern over download bandwidth so I tossed them onto Flickr where there are no dowload limits.
Q set is here. This is the main link

Slideshow: There is a link on the main page above, but here it is also

Move Cursor to top of slideshow, and you can speed it up.
Click an image to get to its full page.
Click "All Sizes" on an image to see the larger size. I uploaded at 1024 wide, but I have larger originals.
Pics are proportioned for 4x6... perfect for photo printers.
I tried to mix them up.. some people shots... some car shots...
| | Q 2006! by host | Hello Everyone,
The staff and sponsors of the Mopar Car- B- Que are proud to announce that the 10th annual “Q” will be held on September 9th, 2006 in Atco, NJ (on Jackson Rd. -close to Atco Raceway). We at the Mopar Car-B-Que are extremely proud of our show, which has grown from a small gathering of friends who love classic Mopars, to one of the best “all Mopar” car shows in the area.
We'll have hundreds of cars, there’s food, fun and friends who gather to enjoy the “Good Times”. Folks travel from all over the region to attend our show. We have even had visitors from Tennessee, Virginia, Connecticut and many other states as well. Of course the greatest part about our show is that all proceeds are donated to The Center for Cancer & Hematologic Disease. This is done in the memory of our departed friend, brother & son James “Zeke” Fabrizio.
Your low admission price includes goody bag and dash plaque for the 1st 150 cars. This year the show also includes Food, Parts Vendors, a DJ, a Dyno, Toys & Collectibles Vendors, Mopar Model Car Contest, Swap Meet, Door Prizes, a 50/50, a cruise after the show, and a Host Hotel.
If you’re interested in being a sponsor or a vendor or have any other questions, comments or concerns feel free to email me at tomdroptop@aol.com or visit www.moparcarbque.com
We are hoping to make “Q” 2006 the best show yet, and would love to see our Dodge Coronet family represented there. We encourage your attendance, and participation.
Thank you, Tom

| | Thank you for a successfull 2005 show! by mark | I just wanted to say that another year has come and gone and to say a special thanks to all of you that attended the show this year. The Q was a complete success this year. I like to refer to it as the year of “MORE” as we had more cars, more food, more vendors, more door prizes, and more room!
I agree that more is not always better, but you have to admit in all these cases it was!
I want to start off with thanking our sponsors! Please remember that the sponsors of the show are a very valuable asset to the show. They allow us the flexibility to be able to purchase all the items it takes to run the show and allow us to keep the cost of getting in the lowest anywhere, still at an only $5.00!
These sponsors also have allowed us to keep the shirt cost at $15.00 for the past few years. Please support them all before you go to any competition and hopefully they will continue to sponsor the show.
Thank you to each and every one of you that sponsored the 2005 Car-B-Que! (see sponsor list & links)
There were a few new things this year which included showing you all the door prizes before we announced the winners. In the past they were bagged up & ready to be handed out for what we felt was a more efficient way of doing things. We realized that people didn’t get a chance to see what they had a chance of winning and were leaving and not claiming prizes. It worked out well this year as they all went, so we’ll try and bring that back for the 2006 show.
We also brought back the model car contest. There were 15 cars on display from a hand built dragster to diecast rides with added items all the way to a full diorama. Every entry received a new model car kit and glue for their participation and I would like to thank you all that brought out your models! Overall the model car contest was a success and we plan on having a tent for next year, to keep these beauties in the shade and out of harms way so feel free to bring yours out. We’ll add more for 2006 to that area of the Q.
New for 2006 was first and foremost, the location. The 05 show field was a success as it was able to handle the great number of cars and vendors easily with room to spare. It was, however a little dusty, but we have a few ideas given to us by a few people to allow us to try & resolve that for the 2006 show.
Now to let you all know that our grand totals were 244 Mopars and over 20 Vendors.
A great big thank you to all that make it possible, from an outstanding group of guys & girls known as the “Car-B-Que Crew” to the vendors and sponsors all the way to each and every attendee. Whether you brought you Mopar or just came to look and see the parts, you all make the show what it is today!
Thank you all, Tom Felice
SEE YOU ALL ON SEPTEMBER 9, 2006!!!!!!!!!!
